Green Quakers have a dark green back and tail. Their stomach is light green and the head and chest is a soft grey. They have deep blue feathers on the wings and tail. Their feet are black, and the beak is horn-colored. They are small parrots, measuring approximately 9 inches including the length of the tail. Average Lifespan: 20+ years

Sexing: This species is not sexually dimorphic, which means there is no visible difference between male and female. The only sure way to know the sex of these parrots is with a DNA test.
Trainability: Quaker parrots are very intelligent and are easily trained to mimic speech as well as sounds. They are very playful birds which makes it easy to teach them tricks, and they can be “potty trained” to some extent if their caregiver is patient enough to work with them.
